Moss Society News
The big news from the Moss Society office (and Pat) is that the postponed 2020 British Isles trip is scheduled for May 13th through the 27th next year. The trip is primarily by bus and includes stops in Scotland, Ireland, Wales and England. Any of you who have travelled with Pat know that this will be an exceptional journey. Pat’s 90th birthday will be on May 20th, and can you think of a better way to celebrate it? As of today, two thirds of the trip has filled. Here is the link to the information. Moss Foundation News
Teachers interested in applying for a grant have until September 30, 2022 to submit an application. This grant provides up to $1,000 for the purchase of art supplies for educators who integrate art into their curriculum. It is a fantastic program! Look for the 2022 Moss Foundation Raffle Quilt as it will be travelling with Pat on her fall show tour. This gorgeous quilt was designed and made by Jackie Wolff. The measurements are 39” x 39”, and the centerpiece is an original Pat Moss work of art. Tickets are $3 each or 2 for $5. You may purchase tickets at any artist appearance, or you are welcome to contact the Foundation at foundation@mossfoundation.org or 804-725-7378, M-TH 9-5, F 8-4. All time Eastern.

Framed P Buckley Moss original watercolor: The delightful image features Pat’s classic Plain children; a girl on a swing with two little boys hanging on for dear life. The frame features gold, ridged, wooden molding. Overall dimensions, 13 x 17-1/2 ins.; dimensions inside matting, 7-3/4 x 11-3/4 ins. Painting has been signed: Moss ’85 and also signed: P Buckley Moss and registered with the P Buckley Moss Museum. Will accept $750.00 or highest offer above that amount.
