Moss in the Forest

Welcome:
Welcome to the Moss in the Forest chapter. Our chapter was established in 1992 and we currently have eleven active members from the Lynchburg, VA, area including Amherst, Forest, and Lynchburg. We are a small group who, through our love for Pat’s art and desire to help children, have built strong friendships within our chapter and with other Moss “family” members.

Past Activities:
Our Chapter continues to collect supplies such as blankets, hats, scarves, gloves, and food items for the local Salvation Army. About twice a year, we get together to make artificial flower arrangements in teacups and deliver the beautiful arrangements to the oncology floor at the hospital. We love seeing the creativity of our members and the smiles on the faces of the recipients!

Remarks to Potential Members:
Our chapter mission statement is: To promote an awareness and an appreciation for the art of P.Buckley Moss, and to promote local appearances in order to facilitate children's philanthropic activities.

If you are interested in learning more or becoming a member of our local chapter, Moss in the Forest invites you to contact our chapter president.
